Jacob has been

Jacob is a former YC founder. He's pitched on Demo Day, raised a round, and felt the pressure of needing to look credible before you have traction. He knows exactly what investors are looking for — and what makes them swipe left.
After going through YC, Jacob realized there was a massive gap in the market: early-stage startups needed the kind of design that actually moves investors and customers, but had no access to it. Big agencies were too slow, too expensive, and didn't understand the startup context. Freelancers were a lottery.
So he built Bernie Studio — a design studio run by founders, for founders. Every brand, landing page, and deck we touch is built with the same urgency and ambition we'd apply to our own company.
